SCPC Podcast, Holiday Series: Talk 2: Grow, Acts 2 32-47

October 7th, 2007 · 1 Comment

This is the second in the Holiday Series regarding our mission to Connect, Grow and Serve. This week Pete Thompson talks about his new vegie garden and how that relates to us as Christians. Pete explores how “grow” should impact our lives and church family.

Key Verse:

But the one who received the seed that fell on good soil is the man who hears the word and understands it. He produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.

Matthew 13:23

Thanks for another great day in church. The Learoyds were visiting from Cooma (hence the email address!), and having enjoyed last Sunday (1/10/07) at SCPC, were again encouraged and inspired by the clarity, depth and practicality of teaching, joy in worship, strength of vision and pleasure in fellowship. Keep it up! We are also inspired to try our vegie garden again, though the climate is not quite as encouraging for seedlings here in Cooma!
