In this bible talk from 1 Corinthians 4:14-21 by Steve Cree, we conclude our 1st series in 1 Corinthians with Paul’s challenge to the Corinthians to choose better models for living as Christians. As a disciplining father speaking to rebellious children, Paul calls them to imitate himself and Timothy who he is sending as a true son in the faith. Unlike the arrogant, proud and worldly models the Corinthians are embracing, Timothy models the humility of Christ. Unlike the merely human “talk” of many in Corinth, he will speak and live the true talk of God - the word of the cross - which is more than talk, but the power of God to truly change lives.
Key Verse
Therefore I urge you to imitate me.

Have a great holiday Steve. A term well done. I’m looking forward to Matty preaching on Hosea while you’re away and also to your “Bible in 3″ mini-series when you get back.
