Matt Simpson spoke to us from 1 Corinthians 10:1-13 where we heard how Paul used examples from Israel’s history to show how people who trust in outwards things fall under God’s judgment. His call is to respond to God’s faithfulness from the heart and so to truly turn from idols and sin.
Key Verse
So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall!

This week the Bible Reading is a part of an item sung by Peter Yock. The song is called Lead Me.

It really is turning away from our sin and surrendering them to God. Taking time and listen to what He has to say and put it in to action.
For me learning a new job has left me wide open for sin to creep into my life watching TV , not helping with my family and spending time on the computer and most importantly not listening /reading the words of my Father God.
This is something that I have to work on but i can’t do it by myself i need my families(this includes my church family) help but most of all i need to stand before God and repent and ask for forgiveness and ask for His help as i can’t do it without Him.
Thanks Matt for the reminder of who is our God
