  1. Thanks for a great talk yocky. I especially like the ending. When you were sharing about your work and how you view it – for me that made the talk. Great stuff.

  2. Quite the challenge Peter. I found it interesting given that I am pretty content in my job at the moment. Does that mean I have made it? I suspect not. I think my work conditions are just very good and I am enjoying my recreation. Maybe I idolise both. Bring on heaven where we will be free from impure motives.

  3. Thanks Simon and Graeme. The good thing about preaching is that the preacher gets more out of it than anyone else – the challenges I shared in the talk are only the icing in the cake for me. There’s ample room for me to grow in working for God, not working for idols.

    Graeme – maybe I just need a job with 12 weeks of holiday a year? (kidding) Glad to hear you enjoy your work and your rest. And amen – bring on the Kingdom – work and rest will be much better then!
