Hey Pete! Great talk on Sunday. I praise God for your faithfulness to the gospel. You said some hard things which I think we all needed to hear. A point raised continuously in our Bible Study is how different our lives would look if we completely and wholeheartedly believed and followed Christ, the challenge to not only declare Jesus as Lord but have lives that show it. Rom 12:2: Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Hi Pete. I also thought the talk was great, but tough. Some comments from our small group was the challenge to not only be reading the Bible and praying, but doing it in a way that our hearts are engaged with God in a humble, reflective, meaningful way.
