Kids Church Capers

One of the great things about my job is that I get to visit Kids Church a couple of times every term. In fact, I was there just this last Sunday – and it was brilliant! I can’t remember seeing one kid who wasn’t having a good time and really engaged in what they were learning.

All our Kids Church leaders work hard to make Sunday mornings a time where kids have fun learning about Jesus. And from the 3-year-olds in “Sprouts” to the 12-year-olds in “Tall Timbers” that’s exactly what was happening for 64 kids last Sunday.

We should never take our kids or our Kids Church for granted. Our kids are a vital blessing to our church and our Kids Church leaders are people who understand that and love to play a part in helping them know and love and follow Jesus. So if you get the chance to thank or encourage a Kids Church leader – make sure you take it!

I totally agree, God has blessed us incredibly with an amazing team of kids church teachers. I always have a smile on my face as i pick up the kids from Kids Church each week and see children of all ages carrying around such a variety of craft! The kids really have a great time while learning about Jesus. Thanks team!

I’d like to say on behave of Vicki and I a big thank you to the Kid’s Church leaders. Our boys love going to church and Nathan enjoys learning the memory verses. Mitchell often enthusiastically discusses with us what they did in his group.

I enjoyed the oportunity to help out with Kids Church a few weeks ago. Sue & I are so grateful for these wonderful people getting along side us teaching our kids about Jesus. We fully appreciate how hard it is to keep so many kids interested during the lesson. Thanks to all who are involved in this very important ministry. Parents, don’t miss the opportunity to talk to your kids about what they learned.

I think our kids church is amazing…i grew up going to the cathedral and we had to just learn to sit and wait through the service…really made religion seem daunting and confusing plus im sure parents couldnt pay attention… here the kids are learning about Jesus at their own levels and the parents can concentrate on the talk! Praise God for this beautiful gift he has given us!
