Time to Pray

wheat-images-31Jesus told his disciples “the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

As we plan and prepare to start a new church in Goonellabah – i.e. to send out workers into the harvest field – our first priority must be to “ask the Lord of the harvest”. So for all those keen to see the gospel spread in our town so that many more people turn to Jesus, we’re gathering at 6am tomorrow (Friday) at Park Ave for the first monthly prayer meeting devoted to this purpose.

Hope to see you there.

yep, hope to see you there. So proud that you leaders have started these prayer meetings.

  2. Trev Voltz says:

I would love to be there but I am at work that time,so I am praying as I go about my work at school.

  3. Pete Thompson says:

    Hi Trev

Yep we know there’s no time that suits everybody so its great to know that there are many who are praying about the church plant either at home or at work. We’re also going to move the days and times around a bit so that hopefully at most people who would like to get along are able to at some point. The next GCP prayer meeting will be on Thursday April 2 @ 4pm.

Also, don’t forget that you can sign up to receive a list of the things that we pray about at each meeting – sign up on a Sunday at the community table or just give the office a call during the week.
