David Kemsley

This Friday for youth we’re heading to Byron Bay with other youth from around the north coast for our last combined night for the year.

We’ll be meeting at park ave to catch a bus at 6:30pm and arrive back at 10:15pm. Please bring along $10 which includes the bus and a BBQ dinner.

During the night we’ll hear a great bible talk so don’t forget to invite your mates as it’s a good opportunity for them to hear the gospel. See ya there!

This friday night at youth is the term 4 parent’s dinner! Bring along your whole family and a plate to share.

As well a enjoying a dinner together, we’ll be finding out what the youth have been up to this year in ‘serve 2011′.

This Friday, 21st Oct
Park Ave
7pm – 9pm

Look forward to seeing you there.

Welcome to the new SCPC site!

The new site aims to give a fresh look, make it easier to navigate and adds a bit more functionality. The site has also been migrated to a faster provider which should give a significant boost in speed.

One notable change is that the weekly bible talks will no longer appear on the front page as posts. This will help minimise clutter so the front page can be used more for Church family updates and other helpful / informative posts. Talks can still be accessed by clicking ‘browse’ in Bible Talks section on the right sidebar.

Also in the right sidebar is the ‘What’s on’ section. Clicking on these items will take you to a page providing further details about the item.

Over the next few months we’ll be endeavouring to keep the site active so watch this space…

This week’s Bible Talk took us to 1 Thessalonians 4:13-5:28 where we saw that when Jesus returns the only thing that will determine our eternity is our connection to him.
