All welcome for our Christmas Day service on Sunday 25 December 9.30am at Lismore High School.
Just a reminder that on Sunday (6th November) we’ll be meeting in the MPU (otherwise known as ‘the shed’) see map below – you can park where you normally do and walk over or use the Dalley Street entrance carpark.
Also if its warm, we’ll be having a ‘drinks break’ at half time in the morning service!
See you there…
The whole church will enjoy a bring & share lunch in the LHS auditorium from 12pm on Vision Sunday, November 13.
This will also be an opportunity for those not yet in a gospel community to ask questions and hear GC members describe how things are going in their GC. Real people, real life, lived on purpose for Jesus. It’d be great to share lunch with you on Vision Sunday.
Well it started early for some (5.30am) when the meat was put on the spit (thank you to those guys) and continued into the afternoon with much feasting and much to praise God for including the beautiful sunshine.
It was also good to be reminded how God is working to transform our church family even now as we look forward to the ultimate transformation and how he is using us to share this hope with the wider community.
Below are a few pictures from the day:

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
If you have wondered where your lost jacket is or your Bible (including a KJV electronic pocket Bible) or those missing sunglasses or sunhat then look no further because they are probably in the SCPC lost property!
Over the years we collect many things and majority of lost property is given away to charity.
If you would like to come and have a look for anything then PLEASE drop by the church office at Park Avenue, East Lismore before the end of the month as we need to make room for this year’s lost property.
We also have this cute teddy bear that has landed up in lost property – I am sure it must have an owner somewhere so if it belongs to you please come and collect otherwise its new owner will be Lifeline.
THANKS
Don’t forget that the North Coast Christian Convention is on this weekend which means that church on Sunday morning will be at Evans Head K-12 School and NOT at Lismore High – why not come and join us for the morning session at Evans Head… Sunday night will still be on as normal at 6pm! It’s also pizza night so remember to bring some $ for dinner.
Also on Saturday night, women from all ages are invited to Evans Head RSL for dinner with Naomi Reed (who is the speaker for the women’s seminar at NCCC) and afterwards she will present a monologue from her fourth book…you can arrive anytime from 6pm! There will be cars coming back to Lismore so carpooling might be a good option.
Hope to see you at NCCC!
