Celebration Sunday – bring a salad to share
Celebration Sunday is this Sunday, September 18, a special day to praise our great God and celebrate the wonderful things he’s been doing in our church family throughout the year.
Celebration Sunday starts at 9:30am and ends around 2:30pm, including games & a spit roast lunch (please bring a side dish to share). There is no PM gathering on Celebration Sunday.
Celebration Sunday ‘Gift Boxes’ – Please Help!
Decorated gift boxes are starting to flood in for our Celebration Sunday ‘Gift Shop’ BUT WE NEED MANY MORE! We’re keen to have creative contributions from as many members of our church family as possible. The idea is to wrap and decorate a box to express what church family means to you. We are providing gift tags to attach to your box to write your thoughts and add further expression. Contributions will be received at the office between now and Celebration Sunday.
Who Will Be King? – Holiday Series
‘Who Will Be King?’ is our September/October holiday preaching series from the Old Testament . Stew Playsted, Matt Crosthwaite and Luke Thomas will be taking us on a whistle stop tour through 1 & 2 Samuel and 1 Kings.
Blokes Go Bangalow RSVP
Don’t get caught out! Blokes Go Bangalow is straight after the school holidays, the first weekend of term 4, October 14-15. RSVP Luke on 0497 410 767 this week. Evangelist, Craig Dobbie from EV Church on the Central Coast will be our guest speaker. This is a great opportunity to invite our not-yet-Christian mates to hear the gospel. Let’s be intentional about inviting men along. Pick up a brochure from the Community table and check out the great program.
