Term 4 START Meeting
Term 4 kicks off with our START meeting at Park Ave today 16th October, 7:30pm. We’ll introduce this term’s Bible teaching and prepare for all that’s in store for our church family in the coming term. Bring your Bible and your Series Companion with you.
Mum & Me Time
Mum & Me Time is our mid-week playgroup ministry to preschoolers and their mums. M&M starts back today and it’s on during Term, Tues and Wed from 10-11:30am at Park Ave. All preschoolers and their mum’s are welcome.
Breaking the Silence Training
Breaking the Silence safe ministry training is on this Saturday Oct 20 from 9:30am-1pm at Lismore High School. All leaders including ministers, elders, ministry leaders, gospel community leaders, as well as those working with children or young people, need to complete this training every three years. Please bring some morning tea to share.
Women Helping Women
The final part of this webinar series will be after the school holidays on Thursday 25th October, 7:30pm at Park Ave. WHW provides practical training for women over 18 to think biblically and minister graciously to sexual strugglers. It discusses God’s design for sexuality, how patterns of sexual and relational sin develop, and has biblical wisdom regarding the discipleship process.
Youth Launch
Youth will launch into Term 4 on Friday 26th October here at Lismore High from 7-9pm. Youth happens each Friday night during school terms to grow our high schoolers as followers of Jesus.
Gospel, Society & Culture Conference
On Saturday 27th October, a Gospel, Society & Culture Conference will be held at Tweed Heads Presbyterian Church from 9am to 3pm. The cost is $20, grab a registration form from the Community table.
Staff Away
Stew is on annual leave and study leave from 24 September to 21 October and Lyn will be on annual leave 8-21 October!
