Daily Devotional: Luke 24:44-49

Read Luke 24:44-49
Today’s devotional ties in well with our study of the book of Acts. Jesus says that repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all of the world, beginning at Jerusalem. The promises of the Old Testament are about to be fulfilled further and the disciples are about to understand how the whole of the Old Testament pointed to Jesus Christ. To help the disciples in their mission they would be empowered by the Holy Spirit.
