It’s one of our favourite Sundays of the year as we gather to celebrate all that God has been doing among us over the past 12 months.
We’ll share stories, celebrate baptisms and membership, enjoy a meal together, and, of course, look forward to the return of our much-loved Lolly Ladies and Lads!
The theme for Celebration Sunday this year was drawn from our time in 1 Thessalonians. Remember this bold line from the apostle Paul and his companions Silas and Timothy: 19 For what is our hope, our joy, or the crown in which we will glory in the presence of our Lord Jesus when he comes? Is it not you? 20 Indeed, you are our glory and joy. 1 Thess 2:19-20
PLEASE BRING:
– a small plate of morning tea to share,
– a salad or side to share at lunch (with serving utensils), and
– a picnic rug and/or camp chairs.
And, remember to check in with your Gospel Community (GC) Leadership Group to see how your GC will help serve on the day.
