Term 2 START Meeting Wednesday 26th April
Our Term 2 START meeting is on at Park Ave this Wednesday 26th April at 7:30pm. Come and hear what’s in store for our church family this term as we look at 8 lessons in faithfulness from the book of Daniel and seek to keep growing followers of Jesus. Term booklets will be available if you haven’t already picked yours up.
The Nurture and Discipline of Children
Don’t miss this excellent event. On Saturday 29th April, Dr John McClean from Christ College Sydney will be speaking on the nurture and discipline of children from a Christian perspective. It will be held at Casino Christian School at 6:30pm.
SCG 5th Sunday Sausage Sizzles
Whenever there is a 5th Sunday in a month, Southern Cross Goonellabah will be having a sausage sizzle here at 12pm after our morning gathering. The first will be this Sunday, 30th April.
Sunday Soccer
The 2017 season has arrived! Social games of soccer will swing back into action this Sunday 30th April. Head down to the LHS playing field from 3-4pm each Sunday afternoon this term (except Mother’s Day 14th May and NCCC 28th May). There will also be our three SCPC State of Origin touch footy games during the term, we’ll keep you posted.

How are your friends and family recovering after the flood? Follow them up and see how they’re going.
BYO Bible
How have you been going at loving your Bible? Don’t forget to bring it with you to church each Sunday.
Mum & Me Time
Mum & Me Time is our mid-week playgroup ministry to preschoolers and their mums. M&M starts back on Wed 26 April and Tue 2nd May from 10-11:30am. All preschoolers and their mum’s are welcome.
Youth Launch Term 2
Friday the 5th of May will see the launch of Youth for Term 2. It’s for all high school aged youth, held weekly at Lismore High from 7pm to 9pm.
NCCC @ Evans Head ‘From Darkness to Light’
The annual North Coast Christian Convention is coming up soon! Its on 27-28 May at Evans Head. David Cook and Steve Young will be speaking on ‘Darkness to Light’. Get together with your GC and make a weekend of it. To receive the NCCC earlybird discount, register and pay before Monday 15th May. The easiest way to register is to hop online at www.mynccc.org.au.
