At Mum & Me Time we aim to provide a safe and friendly environment for mums and their children (0-5 years) to come for play, encouragement and friendship with other mums and mentors.

Mum & Me Time is a relaxed playgroup run by Southern Cross Presbyterian Church which offers free play time, crafts, singing and story time.

Cost: No cost

Morning tea: Each week we ask guardians to bring along a piece of fruit per child and we make fruit platters for the kids to share. Tea, coffee and morning tea are provided for mums.

Sun protection: Most weeks, weather permitting, we will be outside so you may like to bring a hat and sunscreen.

Water play: Occasionally during Terms 1 and 4 we will have water play. You may like to ensure you have spare clothes.

Mentors: We are fortunate to have mentors within our playgroup. These older women are a part of Southern Cross Presbyterian Church and they volunteer their time to assist us practically, emotionally and spiritually during the morning. 

A typical morning: Whilst it is fairly flexible and may change from week to week, the morning typically begins with some free play, followed by morning tea (fruit) together. We usually do a craft activity, followed by singing and story time. We pack up around 11:25 and aim to finish at 11:30. Christian ideas are sometimes presented in crafts and songs.

Who can come: Mum and Me Time is for women only, along with babies and children under school age (0-5 years).

Registration: We ask that attendees please complete a registration form each year to ensure we have your up-to-date contact information, emergency contacts and important information about things such as allergies.
