This Sunday

This Sunday at SCPC we pass the halfway mark in our “gospel-centred life” series. So far we’ve seen that the good news of Jesus is that he died and was raised to life not just to be our Saviour but also to be our Lord. This means that a gospel-centred life will be lived in joyful and ever-increasing submission to the God who gave himself up for us all. On Sunday we’re going to consider the implications of the gospel for how we speak – a topic of great importance for anyone with a tongue and a desire to live in order to please God!

We’ll also be celebrating the Lord’s Supper together this week (something we do twice a term) – a great way to remind each other of the gospel of grace. I look forward to sharing it with you.
