Youth at Park Ave this Friday
Youth and year sixers can be dropped off at 7pm and picked up at 9pm from Park Ave this Friday evening 6th September. In-between they will be playing tennis at the East Lismore courts. Bring your tennis racquet.
NCCC Women’s Convention
‘Finding Jesus in Habbakuk’ is the focus of NCCC Women’s Convention this Saturday 7th September at Alstonville. Register at https://www.mynccc.org.au/nccc-womens-convention/ We also have our SCPC Women’s Retreat next term on November 8-9 so if you can only make it to one or the other, make the most of that opportunity.
Sunday Soccer Grand Final
The final contest between lights and darks will take place this Sunday afternoon 8th Septermber from 3-4pm at the SCU Football Centre, Crawford Road, East Lismore. Come and play or come and cheer.
Book Club
This term we are reading ‘Honest Evangelism’ by Rico Tice. The discussion evening will be on Wednesday 18th September.
Celebration Sunday
The highlight of our church family year, Celebration Sunday is only three weeks away on 22nd September. Its time to send in your photos of church family life from the past 12 months. And on the day, as well as inviting your friends, there are lots of ways to contribute with your GC roles. Also bring a fruit or savoury platter for morning tea and a salad for lunch and don’t forget a chair or picnic rug.
