Why One Dad Loves Helping Out in Holiday Kids Church…

20160622_192818

Reasons I like helping out in Holiday Kids Church.
1. I get to teach Jesus to our church’s awesome kids
2. It gives our servant-hearted kids church leaders a break
3. It’s a simple and great way to serve my church family
4. My kids love it when I help out!

During each school holidays we give our regular Kid’s Church team a break and recruit other helpers, especially parents, to share in the joy of serving at Kid’s Church. Many in our church family have found this to be a wonderful experience so add your name to the list by talking to Stew (stewart@scpc.org.au).

Youth Safari Safari 2016

Safari is our annual Youth camp for all high schoolers. The theme for Safari 2016 is ‘fake gods, REAL GOD’. Its all about helping our youth spot and stop the idols in their lives so they can be free to truly trust in Jesus. It’s in the school holidays from July 9-13. Don’t miss out! Registrations close tomorrow, Thursday 30th June. Talk to Peter Young or Luke Thomas (luke@scpc.org.au) today.
