We’re continuing our Term 3 Series ‘What Must I Do To Be Saved?’ looking at God’s plan for mission as he provides a way of salvation to the world.

Matt Crosthwaite will open up the Bible to Revelation chapters 21 & 22 to show us that even as we face difficulties in the world, God assures us in his word that Jesus will return, and at his return, he will bring the perfect new creation. Through faith we will be God’s people, in his place, living eternally under his good rule. So, look to the glory of Christ now and into eternity and press on. We’ll be asking the question: What’s the most glorious thing you’ve ever seen?

If you’re unable to join us on Zoom this Sunday, you’re welcome to listen to an audio recording of the Bible talk here on our website.

KIDS CHURCH THIS SUNDAY

Hello families,

We will have a ZOOM meeting for the children at 11am after the gathering on Sunday. It’s crazy hat day, so find (or make) a REAL hat to wear!

If you wish for your child to participate in the ZOOM meetings then please complete the Permission form for online meetings.pdf and email it back to peita@scpc.org.au by 8am on Sunday morning. If you are having trouble accessing this please contact me.

This weekend you might like to watch and discuss A Dream of Heaven together as a family and then spend some time praying:

  • Thank God that one day there will be no more tears or loneliness or sickness or pain or death or sin.
  • Thank God that his people, those who trust in Jesus, will one day live with him forever!
  • Ask for help to share God’s amazing news of salvation with those who don’t know it.

Here are some other activities you could do:

  • Complete your calico and hand it back to the red bin at Park Avenue.
  • Write an encouraging note and post it to someone from kids church or your Gospel Community.
  • You might like to do the My Dad.pdf activity or make a Father’s Day Card.pdf if you haven’t already.

Has anyone mastered the memory verse? We’d love to hear it in the ZOOM rooms!

And, here are some songs to sing along to this week:

It’s been encouraging to see some photos of what you’re up to coming in. Please keep them coming – send them through to peita@scpc.org.au

In Christ,

Peita and the Kids Team
