9am Southern Cross Goonellabah will meet together this Sunday 3rd October at Invercauld House.
9:45am for 10am our Sunday morning ‘Scattering’ will be on ZOOM this Sunday 3rd October.
Our 6pm Sunday evening Gathering will be at our church hall, 8-10 Park Avenue, East Lismore each Sunday.
We continue our 2021 Holiday Series ‘A King Like the Other Nations’ from the Old Testament book of 1 Samuel.
We’ll open up the Bible to 1 Samuel chapter 15 to see how obedience is better than sacrifice. We’ll be asking the question: What does God desire of a king?

KIDS CHURCH THIS SUNDAY
Dear Families,
Ephesians 4:31-32 (CEV) says:
“Stop being bitter and angry and mad at others. Don’t yell at one another or curse each other or ever be rude. Instead, be kind and merciful, and forgive others, just as God forgave you because of Christ.”
In this week’s kids’ talk, Colin talks about loving God and loving others. There are some great questions to ponder as you watch, listen, sing and pray together this week. If you like some crafty things to do then you could:

Remember that this Sunday is the last day to get your calico squares in! We’re really looking forward to seeing everyone’s stories joined together – where we’ll see how our great God is working in all of our lives and weaving our story.
